My baby is not so much a baby anymore. He is becoming so independent. Although he tries my patience often...I can't imagine not having him in our family. He is a happy boy and a very good snuggler. He loves music, playing with his sister's things, and always lets me hug and kiss on him. Here's a little bit of my everyday joy...
I am so happy that he found his way to our family and that I get to be his mommy.
We thanks The Lord daily for our wonderful birthmothers in our life.

A little bit of Marley...
Marley is growing too fast. All of the sudden she is talking like a big kid, negotiating, and preparing for kindergarten! I love this little girl more than words can say. Here is a little bit of what I get everyday...
Thanks to her selfless birthmother I am allowed the privilege of being called "mom"

Christmas
Some holidays are just more exciting with kids. Christmas is one of them. I love making memories and starting traditions. Every year we bake cookies and put them out for Santa with a plate of carrots for the reindeer. This year because we were visiting Utah for the holidays we were too busy to bake cookies so we decided Oreos would suffice. My healthy girl starting snacking on the carrots?! Grandma gave us a bag of magic reindeer food with glitter in it to sprinkle on the front lawn to ensure that Santa would see her house and not miss us. Marley did her best to cover the ground with the glittery food. Christmas Eve also included new Christmas jammie's! Christmas morning was filled with excitement as Max's face lit up while he opened boxes containing Buzz Lightyear and Woody dolls. Marley had a smile from ear to ear as she opened her Leapster Explorer (aka: her DS). And the best part of Christmas was getting to talk to Elder Roberts serving his mission in Chile! Thanks to lots of loving friends and family we had a very merry Christmas.
